VAGUS NERVE – Medicine for the Soul

Specialist workshop on the healing power of vagus nerve with Medical Doctor and Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainer, Dr Adi Priya Kaur.
Working in emergency medicine as a doctor I have seen many more people with depression, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, digestive issues, insomnia, autoimmune issues, chronic inflammation, and pains; especially after the pandemic. In medicine, we say vagus nerve is important and in Kundalini Yoga, we say it is VERY important. Why? It is because this is the key to your emotional, physical and psychological well-being. In the workshop, we will demystify vagus nerve and explore why Kundalini Yoga can help us repair our own nervous system via the vagus nerve, to restore their inner capacity for inner resilience and self-regulation.

About Adi Priya
Adi Priya Kaur is a Professional Trainer at the Aquarian Trainer Academy and an Emergency Medicine doctor based in London.
Her passion is to integrate physical and spiritual well-being. Her multifaceted career reflects a commitment to holistic health, combining the scientific rigour of Western medicine with the transformative practices of Kundalini Yoga and the arts.
She is also a musician who has played the violin since a young age. She has been performing in live and online concerts, sharing her musical talents with a broader audience.
In her free time, Adi Priya enjoys travelling and exploring new technologies. Always seeking to broaden her horizons and deepen her understanding of the world around her.
One For The Heart
The Guru Ram Das Project‘s One For The Heart workshops are a platform for Kundalini Yoga teachers with specialist knowledge to share their expertise to help others. They also fund GRDP’s charitable work – sharing Kundalini Yoga and Meditation with vulnerable people.
